Oakmont
At Oakmont, a prestigious 42-unit concrete condo development in the City of Vancouver, we undertook a comprehensive HVAC installation that showcases our expertise. Our team installed low static hyper heat pumps tailored for condo applications, along with a meticulously designed layout for slab ducting, ensuring insulated and sealed piping for minimal air leakage. Key installations include a make-up air unit on the roof for corridor ventilation, along with fire dampers and smoke fire dampers equipped with actuators for enhanced safety. Each unit benefits from a dedicated ERV system to provide continuous fresh air, while seismic restraints were installed for crucial earthquake protection. This innovative residential rental building will feature six storeys with 95 rental units, all designed to meet the world-leading Passive House standard in energy-efficient construction. Our team ensured meticulous attention to detail throughout the installation process, which is crucial for achieving the stringent Passive House rating. We expertly installed a series of Maestro PTAC systems, providing ductless heating and cooling that operates at an exceptional energy-efficient rate. Additionally, we integrated a high-efficiency Lifebreath ERV system, ensuring optimal air quality while meeting the energy requirements essential for Passive House certification.

Introducing The Hillcrest, an exclusive collection of 17 contemporary townhomes located at the vibrant corner of West King Edward Avenue and Columbia Street. Our HVAC team was proud to install a unique high-velocity heat pump system that efficiently heats and cools each home, resulting in lower operational costs for residents. The innovative design facilitated the installation of an 8-inch main supply line and smaller branch lines, significantly minimizing the need for bulkheads while adhering to the project's challenging architectural requirements. In addition, we equipped each townhome with a Panasonic ERV, ensuring a continuous supply of quiet, fresh air for optimal comfort.
